The Situation Before
What the Client Came In With
"We want to build a platform where music artists can be discovered and booked for events — like a marketplace for live entertainment."
Stagent was founded by Mischa, a DJ and artist manager who experienced firsthand the operational chaos of managing bookings, contracts, invoices, and tour logistics across dozens of spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected calendars. The music booking industry had no purpose-built tool that unified the full management lifecycle. Every booking was a manual coordination effort, every contract required printing and scanning, and every payment reminder depended on someone remembering to send it.
The Turning Point
What Exclolab Found

The Approach
How Exclolab Worked
Discovery sessions with artists, bookers, and event organisers uncovered three separate user journeys that needed to feel seamless. We designed and built a two-sided marketplace with artist profiles, availability calendars, deal-flow tracking, and a contract/invoice generator. Benson (Exclolab co-founder) served as Tech Lead. Delivered across 6 sprints — each sprint shipped a working, deployable feature set.

Work with Exclolab
Ready to Build the Platform Your Industry Is Missing?
Mischa didn't come to Exclolab with a feature list. He came with a problem — the music booking industry was running on tools that were never designed for it, and he'd felt that problem personally every single day. If you're building a product to solve a real operational problem — in your industry or for your clients — the first conversation with Exclolab isn't a pitch deck. It's the same discovery mapping that shaped every one of Stagent's 6 sprints: understand the problem completely before writing a single line of code.
